It's not necessarily hard, it's just a LOT of work. If you have all the parts, and know how to weld/fabricate then it's fairly straight-forward really.

I'll be keeping an eye on this one. When I first got into colts, I read your write ups through and through.

Alright guys, eat it up

http://lilevo.com/

Click updates on the bottom.

I will be taking deposits on the DVD shortly.

The final price including shipping will be around $50.00. Detailed instructions, measurements, how to make the custom pieces, etc will all be on the DVD.

I would imagine that the process would be very similar to a c13 turbo awd swap? Do you include basics like the tools you're using, brand of paint/cleaner/blah, and easy to follow tutorials, or is it more of a doitlikethisoritwon'twork type of video.

The rear subframe is completely in, completed in two days.

Two front subframe mounts were created and welded in and the boomerang mount was completed and welded in.

I have about an hour and a half of video footage documenting everything.

I have about 20 hours of labor into it, yesterday and today.

Again, I'm doing it in stages.
1.) Rear subframe, gas tank
2.) Front and rear engine mounts - with the 1.5L still in the car
3.) swap in AWD motor and transmission, do driveshaft mounts

I pulled out the 1.5L and transmission in 2 hours. I will be lifting in a bare block and shell transmission/transfer case to make the rear motor mount. Then I can also make the driveshaft mounts. Then before I even complete my own swap, I will be making the DVD :) Nothing says I care more than that ;)

Stay tuned. Should have some type of DVD by next week.
