| Post subject: | Talon tranny with??? drive shatfs |
K im building a FWD turbo talon tranny into my '94 Elantra. Just wanted to know if anyone would know what type of drive shatfs would work. Can I use the inner part of the driveshaft of the talon (into tranny) and the outter of a elantra (to wheel) and get them to put it together? or Would a Colt 1.6 turbo one fit fine? |

that, and use your stock elantra axles, they aren't equal length, but they definately work. |

Ca't use the Elantra CVs they use the wrong inner joint for their transmissions they don't work...

so the km206 that comes stock in elantra (1.6 or 1.8L)does not have the same inner spline count and size as a dsm fwd 1g tranny? even though its the same externally? if thats the case, he can always swap the inner cups. |

Same spline count and size. But the clip fastens in a different spot in the diff. The length of the inner joint is different as well. Because the length of the inner cup the length of the shafts are different as well... Its not an easy swap...
