Ok so i have just recently heard that some people have been cracking blocks by mounting an electric oil pressure sending unit on the oil filter housing. I am working on a 90 awd I guess I'm gonna look for a short section of SS line and a T fitting.....any ideas on where to find that stuff? I do have the stock autometer adapters also that came with the gauge TIA |

It will be fine, i have the same setup.... Thread size for the housing is 1/8 BSPT. (british std. pipe) The sending unit is 1/8-27 NPT. The sizes are close, but I would just get a 1/8-27 NPT tap and rethread it while you have the filter off changing the oil. Brakleen is your friend |

ok so its not m10x1??? now the next thing - i have a 1/8 x 27 brass TEE and male to male adapter but im trying to figure out the best way to fit the stock sending unit and aftermarket one on there i was thinking about mounting them both off the feed hole for the stock gauge sending unit location instead of the stock pressure switch sending unit location (there is less room at the pressure switch location) thanks for the input |

Big heffer has broken off mine and many other people's housings when hitting a good bump. I have mine now mounted in a rubber oil cooler line to absorb impact. |
