Just curious as I have heard it is possible to machine the 14b housing to accept a 16g wheel. Anyone have any feedback on this setup? Seems like it might be an ideal setup for a 4g61.

figured it was similar, if not the same. and with the 060 housing it should spool decently on the 4g61. thanks

Actually, there are 3 different 16G wheels, maybe more. Small, Large, and EVOIII.

The compressor hosuing are a tiny bit different between the 16G's and the 14B as well, the 16G have a larger intake on them. You have to remove the rubber ring from the intake snorkel on a DSM to get it to fit.

A better bet is to buy a 16G and simply put the 6cm turbine housing on it.

They are all going to be fairly close.

My rule of thumb with turbos is to pick one you want, then go a tiny bit bigger as you'll always want more further down the road. Unclipped EVOIII 16G would suit you great! Buy the whole thing, but use your 14B 6cm turbine housing. Keep the 7cm housing to "grow into" :-)
