can the 4g63 ecu be used in a 4g67 engine.. recently swapped my engine to a 4g67.. the problem is that the ecu of the 4g67 is for m/t.. while the original 4g63 ecu is a/t (so is the tranny).. im experiencing abnormal shifting .. im thinking of just using the 4g63 ecu.. is this possible? hope you could help me guys |

I thought the ECU had notihing to do with the tranny, there was a seperate brain for that. I could be (and probably am) wrong though -paul |

4G63 and 4G67 ECUs do interchange. I think the 4G67 has the rev limiter a bit higher, though. |

Does it mean that the cables from a 4g67 fits the ECU from a 4g63?

Exactly. A 4G67 ECU will run a 4G63 and vice versa. |
