| Post subject: | Transmission To Frame Rail clearence |
Hey I have the motor in the car now and it will start and run fine. but once i put any kind of torque to the engine the transmission will rub off the frame rail/subframe. putting the transmission in I didnt end up with any clearence at all. so i am wondering what others have done or if anyone else has run into this problem. Thanks Jeff |

Hmmmm BFH my 4000$ paint job, I dunno if that going to happen. I am going to make my own transmission mount so i can have good clearence all around. If worse come to worse I Am Getting The BFH from HELL. Jeff |

Just don't tilt the motor up or down (from the transmission side) lift/drop point of view. You are changing the angles of your driveshaft and related drivetrain angles, while not being seriously detrimental as such, just food for thought. It's too bad the BFH idea wasn't touched on before the paint process, but such is life for us. |

Can you snap some pics? You're using an Auto tranny which is probably your problem. Auto boxes are so useless. |

yah i can take some pics. but in the pictures the mounts wont be bolted to anything. I do think it has to do with the auto trans aswell. just see what happenes. Jeff |

very shitty man, that blows. I guess your loss is others gain though, as they will now have the information you didn't have. Not much of a consolation to you, but at least its something I suppose. |
