Well if you read my last post, you know I went up to my work and got a oil change. When I did the oil change I drained it three times and fill it four times. The first two drains it was black oil, then the third was a little better. The Colt feels sooo much better now, and sound MUCH quieter. So if you have 12 quarts lying around, get a cheep oil flush.

Automatic Tranny Fluid is a good flushing agent. It acts as a mild solvent and is safe to flush with, but NOT to drive with.

how many parts auto tranny fluid to regular engine oil? how long do you let it idle? & what if you have pure sythetic in there now? is the auto trans fluid a sythetic or convertional type lubricant? because I know its bad if you mix the two.

Just make sure your crank case is full and just add a quart of atf. Let it idle for about 10 min or more. Just don't drive with it in there. It really doesn't matter what kind of atf. The cheapest one preferably your just using it as a flushing agent.
