I probably do have a boost leak. Getting a tester soon to seal everything up. Its also still on stock exhaust and was on stock ecu when I test drove it. Id rather just keep this thread going rather than start a bunch of new threads. This is kind of my noob knowledge base lol

Wow. We usually make them just bolt right on the front of the turbo. That thing is huge, but will likely get it done.

I tried to make it fit directly to the turbo but lower water neck and fan were in the way. With this The car is completely together and I can do boost leak tests :D

Started the boost leak test and it wouldnt hold any psi! Found a huge leak at the j pipe to compressor flange so I used my 11b jpipe and made it fit should seal up now. Also found a huge hole in my intercooler. Luckily a buddy had a brand new one of the same size I picked it up for $50. No wonder it felt slower than the 11b lol

Got it all back together again and the compressor housing o ring seal was leaking. Had to pull it all back apart yank the turbo off and now need to find the o ring seal.

You know you can get on the dsmlin forums now right? It is very easy to get the account setup now that you own your copy.

Here is your link.

http://www.ecmtuning.com/contact_us.php

They usually want your desired username, 4 digit number on your chip and your email address. This will get you access to a lot more information and some really good classifieds.

Well I got the intake sealed up pretty well. It held 20psi before it blew my boost leak tester apart lol. So now I'm back to my o2 sensor not cycling. Im running dsmlink v2 in a 1990 ecu with a 2g mas The car starts right up and idles ok but I know the o2 sensor should be cycling once it enters closed loop. My o2 sensor just sits @ .04 volts and once it was @ .07 volts. Do you guys think my O2 sensor is bad?

Well I put a brand new denso sensor in it and it still wouldnt cycle. So I did some research and Adjusted my maf comp @ 50hz +2% and now it cycles. SWEET! Kind of odd though lol

Had a buddy tune the car for me on e85 today Thanks! Tyler. Car runs great but we could only around 10 lbs out of it. Hmm. This was with the wastegate can vacuum unplugged as well. At what pressure do the 16g wastegate flappers blow open? I will do another boost leak test to try and fine where my missing boost is. I think its either the cheap ebay type rs bov or the wastegate flapper though?

Well today was a good day! Got my intake all sealed up and installed my new turbonetics bov. Went for a drive and still only 10#'s of boost WTF!!!! So I got a big spring and wired the wastegate shut and still only @ 10#'s WTF!!! So we look the car over and My Buddy Tyler says Maybe your intake is a restriction? I think to myself No Way! I have a 3" adapter on the end of my 2g mas with a single layer of k&N mesh over it. We took it off and ran an open mas and holy shit The car shot right to 20 psi lol Car rips ass now and is pretty fun to drive. Tomorrow I'm getting rid of the stock air intake snorkel and building a more free flowing straigh intake. Then I think I'll be able to tun 25 to 30 psi out this little 16g :D

I would have never thought so either. Im seeing 25 lbs/min now @ 20 lbs if I can get it to hold 30lbs I should see 35 to 40lbs/min I think I need to tighten up my bov It may be leaking above 20 psi something is screaming like a banshee!
