I'm interested in converting my coupe's rear drum brakes to disc and I'm trying to gather all the necessary parts. I would like to use the parts from a 89 turbo mirage or colt gt. I heard that it is pretty much a bolt on swap but then I found some info about needing an adapter because of an oil seal http://www.pixcl.com/summitgtx/lancerproject_1.htm Has anyone on here done this already or knows if there is another solution, maybe some better measurements so I can have the sleeves machined.

The 93-> use 4X100 bolt pattern, whereas the the <-92 use 4X114.3

89 mirage turbo stuff is not a direct bolt on deal. Even if it was you would have th 4 x 114.3 bolt pattern on the rear and 4 x 100 on the front. You can make it work but you actually need rear hubs from a 92 mirage sedan. They look identical to the stock 4 x 100 rear hubs but they are a little larger and a 91-92 Galant VR-4 rear rotor will fit on them.

I actually make a 100% bolt on kit using rear rotors from a 2002 Mini Cooper S and 1g dsm rear calipers. I have about a dozen kits out there with no issues at all. Its the same setup that I will be putting on my 3g hatch here shortly. For pics and prices look at my sticky in the FS section: http://www.4g61t.org/forum/viewtopic.ph ... 58&start=0

I have some Enkei rims that have both patterns so I wasn't too worried about the difference in bolt patterns. I had read about your kits before on the 3rd gen and was just reading on another forum about the installation on 5th gens, looks like a great kit and should save a lot of headaches. I hadn't seen your kit used before on the 4g and wasn't sure of all the differences. I'm glad to hear it will work on my car. I'll pm you to get an order set up. :D

That is actually a 4g rear arm that I used for mock up, 4g 4 x100 hubs as well. It does work on 3g cars too though, you just need a pair of 4/5g rear hubs.

Just let me know when you're ready to order. I actually make them as I receive the order so please allow a few days for me to get everything made.
