I have searched google top to bottom and I can't find anything on how-to/parts list for swapping a 4g63t into one the minvans. Anyone have any kind of info on this swap? I saw one of these back when I was like 17 in Indiana and I about crapped my pants wanted to try it ever since....

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitsubishi_Expo_LRV

Copied from the Wikipedia page:
The top models in certain markets used the drivetrain of the first Mitsubishi Galant VR-4; the 4G63T 2.0 L 16V DOHC turbo straight-4 mated to either a four-speed auto or a five speed manual. Open front and rear differentials were used. Power output was rated at 170–184 kW (231–250 PS; 228–247 hp).

Ps. Add 60 pounds of rust proofing, and this is my dream winter beater.

yeah one of these done out with around 400 WHP and awd and the such would be the ULTIMATE sleeper.

Besides a BP-T powered ford fiesta that is lol.

Im surpized i have not seen any of these imported into canada yet,

What was there first build year?

Info? What info do you need?!

BOLT

IT

IN.

Literally, its bolts up. Will fire and all- if you are dead set on a turbo ECU, you will need to run some wires, more depending on year. Otherwise. its super straight forward.

Actually have a 5 speed for sale locally....

I am starting this swap this weekend so I will post more info on the swap as work on it for those that are interested. I will be putting a evo 3 4g63t swap with a t3 setup on dsmlink in my 93 expo awd 5 speed 4g64. It's going to be a pretty sweet purple soccer mom van!

Just need some finishing touches (wiring problem, and seats, interior all re-installed)

pfft KLZE. I would swap a Turbo BP motor in there instead. Much more capable motor then the KLZE.

And thats going to be a DAMN tight fit to fit a KLZE into that tiny festiva enginebay
