would you run just a duck bill extended trunk lid like Francois Villenvue (spelling?) and his 93 2dr fwd drag car. or extend the deck lid and move the evo2 spoiler back (like reichens evo) about 6 inches (adds 700lbs of downforce at 200 mph, according to wind tunnel testing) or yould you run a sheet metal custom jobber that is infinitely adjustable? if i were to build one, it would have to be clean, i really don't like the evo wings, as they are obtrusive to a "clean" look. i really like frank's mirage, but am afraid that even just extending the decklid isn't enough to add more than 1-200 lbs of downforce, although adding much needed rear end stability. so i have thought about mounting an 03 evo "low rise" spoiler or something similar on an extended deck lid much like reichens, while being cleaner looking, just as functional and easy to come by. thoughts? |
