1992 colt just finishing up the awd auto swap
Put the passenger side axle in and couldnt bolt the knuckle to the strutt
The bottom hole lines up but the top is about a quarter inch off (axle is completely compressed so you cant push/angle the knuckle closer to the car)
using expo knuckles/dsm hubs
Elantra controll arms
Dsm strutts with colt top hats

Its like the controll arm isnt long enough
The strutt bolt holes are in the wrong spots

other wise the only way to fix it would be to get camber plates and run negative camber...

With the expo knuckles and elantra control arms i'm supposed to be able to use them

Sounds like you don't have the axles you think you have. But if the axle is all the way seated in the trans and you're positive it is a DSM axle, I'd suggest trying a turbo mirage axle.
