So since swapping get my colt to awd the rear has always seemed to be bouncy. Not always over bumps but launching and the 1-2 shift. Although I'm still cutting 1.7 60's I'm losing quite a bit I can feel it. Since I'm going to be making a hundred or so more horse soon i need to get this figured out.
Currently i have koni adjustables with ground control coil overs. This is the same combo i was using when the car was wrong wheel drive. I extended the bottom like most people do using another strut bushing welded to the bottom. The ground controls are almost all the way threaded to the top to give it the ride height I need. Would this have something to do with it? Seeing as how the strut is almost all the way extended? The struts are in good shape as far as retracting them by hand.
Anyways what other options do I have? I want to get some struts on here that don't require me to weld the bushing on the bottom. They really need to be roughly 3 inches longer. Any input will help. Thanks.
