Okay, my 91 summit hatch is awd swapped and I want to put a full size gas tank in, wondering about the 1g awd gas tank or a fuel cell from summit racing that holds around 15 gallons or so?
Something like this.

What's your thoughts?

Can can you guys post pics of how you installed your tanks/ mounting them?
Thanks!

Search through the forum for Coltsfan. He has performed the swap and installed a 1g AWD tank in it too. He has a write-up on his build in the forum.

I used a sumped 12 Gal Cell and have no fuel gauge, :drinkers: . GVR4/GGSX tanks are shorter and flatter than DSM tanks. They are hard to source but fit well Im told.

So I have the chance to get this tank for a good price with a boch 44 pump.

But I have to put it in the hatch.
Or a 1g awd and make the mounts for it.
And I would like a fuel level guage to work.

AWD tank would be 1/4 of the price, would give you your factory fuel gauge AND give you more capacity. SAVE THE HATCH!!

Maybe take some measurements and hit the local junkyard. I'm betting any oem style fuel level sender can be made to work with your current wiring.
