Both USDM bumper supports, complete and in place?

LilEvo, your bumpers are Euro/JDM, so they have the thin (non 8mph) supports correct?

Yes, The only thing I did to the front bumper support is cut a hole for air but I reinforced it with 1/2" angle iron and I welded gussets from top to bottom in 3 places for rigidity( or stupidity) and then put the grill from a colt into the bumper. I also made a bracket for the intercooler in the support and the intercooler is very big. 3" piping and a 4"x 24"x18" core. I must be a good amount heavier than a stock original.

Wow, that looks really good! Haven't ever seen the head on shot before.

I can attest to the USDM front bumper support having saved the cabin portion of the car during a 90 degree angle collision with the front bumper/corner marker light area, at speeds of around 35 MPH/50KMH.
Front end moved over 6-12 inches, windshield still intact, and doors opened with little effort, which is surprising considering they don't when you jack up the car at one end. The bumper support was likely rotten too.

The rear bumper cover is held up by a few strips of aluminum stock. Same as the front.

Do you mean on my car? When I did the AWD I pulled the bumper, did the mustache bar mount with 2" square stocks welded rail to rail. I also made a fuel tank mount behind it rail to rail and then put the complete bumper back on.

Yes, your car. Lots of ingenuity happening there. You would never know to look at it. Very good work!

Update of cars weight at the shootout.

2555 ibs which includes the following

NHRA compliant 8.50 cage ( full ten point)
Parachute mount and assembly
lexan windshield, carbon roof and rear side panels
aluminum drag wing
nitrous system.
two corbeau seats.
manual transmission

puts the weight up to 2385

I am currently putting an auto transmission in the car, so I expect the weight to go up. I just wanted to place this information in here for those that are looking

mine is 2720 with me in it (180lbs) and 13 gallons of 110 (~80lbs) so the car weighs roughly 2460 lbs.
