ok, so threw all the ups and downs. I have found a new found love for the colt. I will take my friends offer of getting all the parts he has to complete the awd swap. Instead of selling/trading this colt. I plan on garaging this & taking my time with it. My question is about the cross member. Anyone on here fab up tubalur cross member? I know its done for the 1g's. http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/article ... ll-1g.html anyone here can make them? Be nice to have something like that, then fab up a rear mount to the firewall. Everything else I have figured out but the cross-member. I cant wait to get this house, and a new welder.

As you know im in the middle of the same thing and i think that the hardest part of the AWD swap is mounting the rear end.The front mounts are and i speak of myself the easiest part of if.Just find a nice welder and do or take examples if what Aaronbig16G did.I find that all of the build his is the most easiest to understand.I just had the opportunity to bought the OEM Cyborg AWD crossember from MR.HYDE but if that wasn't the case i would fabricatenthem myself. If you need any help feel free to text me at 787-457-6099 and i would help with any doubt you have.

appreciate it man! Gracias.. muy bien! ... yea soon get this house be easier to have a nice big garage to take my time on it. I considered selling/trading it so many times because I get bored easily. Hopefully the awd will go smoothly. Waiting to close on this house in next few months. Then will be looking for a nice welder. I seen your awd thread. Did you leave the back hatch floor open? or did you close it up? fuel cell? What did you do for the fuel tank?

DONT sell it mann keep it up,As for the Floor i'm gonna close it after the 10 gal and all the fuel related parts are installed.I tell you i thought that the AWD swap was a hard priject but let me tell you after going after it is more easy than many people think.
