hi guys i need some help, i want to convert my mirage hatchback to awd i already have the backend from a evolution 4 except for the rear diff.

a little info about the car so far i have installed a evo 6 engine and loom car drive sweet no issues with any of that it's all stock except for ecu tuned

You won't find much help here, I'm guessing from the fact you have a 97 mirage hatch that you are overseas. We didn't get any of them or any of the first 7 evos so we have really no knowledge on those cars. But do keep us informed and updated, I love checking out build threads.

Mirageforums.net has tons of blokes that have newer model Mirages, but we also also like to see builds that are different from our own.

update

i got the complete back end including drive shaft and ayc diff. i completely removed my back yesterday and started to install the evo 4 rear and had to stop because of the mirage rear sub frame, its built on the car so i called a welder today to help me remove it

update

awd conversion have started everything is installed under the car spent like 16hours today at it
1 removed complete stock rear end
2 cut out spare wheel tub
3 bolt evo 4 rear end on after a little fab work done
4 installed ayc diff
6 bolted drive shaft only to the rear diff till drive shaft mount bolts are made
7 relocate the top control arm to align to bolt holes
6 relocate the toe arm mounting
7 forgot removed the fuel tank

tomorrow list

1 replate all welding done today
2 complete the drive shaft install
3 complete the rear diff top mounting
4 install the rear axles and finish all fab work and recheck everything
5 locate a ayc pump
6 locate a evo fuel tank

to everyone who wants to do a swap like this here is my though on it after i began this morning and the welder said to me we need to cut cut cut i really started to rethink it but i have committed too much money and time already so i just had to go along with the plan but i will never do this again, i will be here to advise anyone who wants to do it,
