Has anybody checked their pinion angle after swapping a csm to awd? I'm curious what a awd dsm has for pinion angle

I don't think it's really angled; it's pretty much level with the ground.

It might be another story with an original AWD CSM, because the rear is entirely different.

Well, should not the pinion have some sort of minor angle like 2 degrees or more, due to inline vibrations transferring?
There must be a specification in the manuals for a DSM, and this should appy the same way to a CSM swapped to AWD because all the same parts were used.

im not positive but I think it only needs to be angles when it is a 1 piece driveshaft.. but I could be wrong.

Equal and opposite to the angle coming into it. That is, for a 1 piece it would be parallel to the tailshaft, but at a slightly different height, giving the driveshaft a ~2 degreeish angle to either of those lines. In our case it would be from the last knuckle. You don't want the driveshaft to be directly inline with the pinion because the U joint won't be rotating out of plane any - you'll beat on the same needle bearings to death over and over again.
