My friend in Jamaica has an AWD setup on his 4G61T Colt but the car needs alot of work and it has in no engine at the moment so he is thinking of buying my FWD 4G61T Mirage and swap over the drivetrain onto mine. Is there many or any problems trying to transfer these? We haven't made a thorough look as yet but I have noticed so far that my wheel well and gas tank are position differently and I am sure few other things will be as well. Can some shed some light onto this if they have experience or know what is involved to make this switch because he doesn't want to spend too much to make the swap. Thanks in Advance

if its just an engine swap, engines should be a drop in affair. You still have to remove the CV axels, and most likely the tranny. And that's if both cars are not missing any parts.

making a fwd colt awd, well thats going to take some welding and fabricating. But you are one step ahead of the US guys if you have all the jdm OEM parts in order from the awd car.
