My engine was sitting on a 10 degree angle per the setup in the Eclipse. Yours seems to be more flat and too low. Can you get an angle reading off a flat spot on the valve cover? |

The timing belt mount is centered and that prevents any more angle either way. |

Is the tbelt stock or custom? From the Eclipse or another car? Your right it does look way too low. Do you have poly mounts anywhere on the car yet? |

I believe it's an optical illusion. Look at the mount bolt up points and compare them, they look the same in each picture. |

Quote: How do you have so much space between the crossmember and the transmission? Maybe it's just an illusion since yours is more zoomed in.
I did modify my 1.6 transmission mount to fit the stepped bolt pattern, and I may have redrilled the bolt hole on the frame side (I don't recall off hand) but the other 1.6 mounts are in stock form for the most part. I do think it's mostly camera angles. Quote: That looks 150% better than your old exhaust setup bro.
Thanks, I like it too. I think it's probably 40 pounds lighter than the old crap also.

I like how you did your rear struts. I did the exact same thing. But yours is probably a little nicer. I kept my exhaust on the drivers side, was a lot easier to do. Looks like you had to accomodate a fancy rear bumper. |

That sweet exhaust, already turned not so sweet. But I found an Ebay store who sells T409 stainless bends for less than half of what I cold buy mild steel for locally. Two of these $38 beauties did the whole system. I just ordered a 2.25"/90 degree bend for $15 to redo my tailpipes, and after that I shouldn't have to do the exhaust again. EDIT: One more |
