Do you need to use different shifter and cables with an AWD tranny or can you just use the stockers???

I use the stock stuff.

still gotta swap the csm shift linkage over to the awd trans, (all of it)
stuff from a 1.5L car or elantra or excel will work too.

I took the shift levers off the 61t trans and put them on the AWD trans. and it worked just as good as the 61t fwd trans

Yeah the 4g61t trans are the same as a 4g63t , so if you have a GT it will fit no problems. But if you have a 1.5 with the trans, then you have to switch them over to the 61t or 63t. I learned this the hard way with the excel,lol.
