For all of you guys that have completed your awd swaps, did you cut the driveshaft before or after the 1st carrier bearing ? I'm collecting parts for a aluminum driveshaft (front section), and was going to make it the same length as a stock dsm one.

I think my first drive shaft I removed the last carrier bearing, the first section was stock in the drive shaft.

I'd suggest maintaining the front section, and just have a single piece rear shaft after the carrier bearing, 2 piece shaft overall, if your angles are decent enough to support it.
