Auto is 3.307. The odds that he is going auto are pretty slim, but in case he is that is the gear ratio he would need.

My 8.8 came out od a Thunderbird turbo coupe. The guys at Moser told me that all 8.8's are the same width and the only thing that changes is the lenght of the axle shafts.

On the t-bird Axles there as a ABS tone ring and a disc brake set-up so the axles stick out of the housing a bit further then some other models. I Told the guys at Moser I wanted them 3/4 of a inch shorter then the T-bird ones. Turns out that is the standard width Fox body mustang axle. So I had 5.0 mustang axles drilled with the 4x4.5" Colt wheel bolt pattern.

The gear count in the 3.55 gears is the same as a DSM rear diff, Mitsu spent the extra cash to print 3.545 and Ford saved .000001$ per car by printing 3.55 LOL.
