Since I couldn't find a good set of rear lower control arms for the AWD conversion in the mirage, I made my own. Made a sleeve that the factory ball joint will press into, then added the tube & threaded end. A heim end will make up the inner pivot point, so it will be adjustable. everything is chromoly, I was worried it would be heavier than the factory unit, but it's 1-lb lighter. Just need to finish the swaybar mount.. scot |

Wow. I've actually wondered if anyone had tried this before. I can't stand the stock lower control arm, its gay as hell. The stock cam bolt for that thing breaks the rim on the subframe, and the bolt/nut usually rusts all to hell too. What is your opinion on running no sway bar, say for a car running in straight lines usually? |

no rear sway bar for str-8 line stuff would be no problem.. scot |
