Your ’92 is quite different from ‘93-‘96. It uses “1G style†tranny and motor mounting system (where as ‘93+ use 2G style mounts). In many ways, ‘92 is more desirable, but then it also depends on what you are used to working on and what you have sitting around

I agree what you guys about stock suspension, it is simply pathetic! Fortunately that is very easy to fix.
The rear end is also somewhat tricky. The pumpkin front mount has a lot of flex and will probably experience the same type of failure as 2G DSM. So I would not attempt to run much faster than 11’s on a stock rear end. And it also non-lsd, I think that converting to LSD would have been easy with DSM parts, but these vans use very different axles, so finding an LSD axle (one of them has to be different) will be difficult
