hello guys, Im new to this forum thou used to visit here to get information. I recently bought a Halfcut nd a rear diff assembly of Galant VR-4 for My 89-90 Colt. I have imported the stuff from Malaysia, by the way im from Pakistan. So i need a support from you techis, is the VR-4 swap ok for the Colt????? Please help me in it because nobody here have done such swaps and didnt even tried. I'll be the first 1. LOL!!

If the rear subframe is the same as a 1G Talon/Eclipse/Laser setup like I think it is, then you can use all the information from the AWD Swap tech section and archives, to piece together a car just like LilEvo or the others guys here, colt200, Bill Spruill, just to name a few.

The GVR4 stuff would work just the same as the 1G AWD stuff, you would probably want to eliminate the 4WS though. The problem that I have with GVR4's is that they never came with a rear LSD, so you're almost better off using 1G AWD stuff.

Dude yes there are no 1g awds here in Pakistan. I got my parts from Malaysia. And yeah one more thing this project of wrking on colt came from u. So u r like an insperation for me. lol.

Nyways Thanx again ill be starting the wrk in couple of weeks nd will keep it posted.
