I posted this on the tail of the original MONSTER thread but now you have a entire forum for just AWD guys!!! You rock!!! anyways I was going through all of my old project pictures and came across the AWD Colt build, I also remember that someone had mentioned that the old M&S site was not hosting the pictures anymore. here is the URL for the old site with all the write up and pictures.

Just thought it might help a few of you, but from what it looks like there is a bunch of little devil AWD CSM's all over the country now!!

Good work guys!!!!

Yea I am very happy that car went to a good home, I had SOOO much time and money into that build. Any late pictures of the car today???

last I heard from dan he was still working a tps signal problem, and had stuck a killed engine in it.

What did he do with that old front mount I/C on it??

He was trying to diagnose that TPS issue FOREVER. It actually ended up being a bad wideband 02 sensor. The car runs like a raped-ape now. :D He never put a killed motor in it, the motor was fine--it came out of his Eclipse. He sold the Starion FMIC setup to someone on this forum, and put a much larger eBay core on there with his own custom piping. It all came out very nicely.

There are some pics here:
http://forum.4g61t.org/viewtopic.php?t=23970

Make sure you scroll down more, because he added one mod to the car that I feel is priceless--it goes on the roof though.

I've got some underhood pics of it that I'll have to dig up when I get home later--he flat-blacked everything he possibly could under the hood. Hehe.

Hey Jonathan

Car is safe with me :drinkers:

I put a FULL interior in the car and moved the battery (under the car, behind the rear axle)

I think you've seen the engine bay, if not:

Why yes, yes you did just get pounded by a pizza delivery car.

"That colt is in the way of my shot"
(stock GSX muffler - Police approved... not really)

All new exhaust. Quiet when necessary...

I'm going to retire the shoes it came with..

NICE!!!

I love the exhaust, looks SOO much better now.

How did you get those massive tires to fit up front?? Coilovers + spacers?

Do you have any videos??

That is the only car I have built and sold that the new owner did not either blow up or wreck, The last two LS-1 FD's I built have both been crashed twice and one was non repairable.

Here are a few pics and a video

Oh god, that FD is sofa king sick. I want one SOOOO bad! Hey Jonathan, let me know if you ever sell that thing--it would be 100% worth it to go into massive, massive amounts of debt. 8)

Sorry its been sold for a few months now to the owner of a large hot rod aftermarket parts warehouse (Tognotti's)

By far the baddest car I have ever driven, I ran circles around a new ZO6 at Thunder Hill a few months ago.

I sold it for $32k I made about $1k on it, EVERYTHING on that car was new or modified. It had the Ford Cobra IRS set up, exedy Hyper twin plate, the engine was built by myself using the top of the line LS parts at the time. it made that number with NO power adders...

It ran a 11.20 @131 on street tires
