Just some regular square tubing coming off the floor. Nothing overbuilt. But the bearing itself is just bulky sitting in the tunnell. Doesnt really leave much room for a 3" pipe. Would you have any pictures of whatcha got???

I actually gotta work on the car tomorrow, so it'll be up in the air and i'll get some pics.

I just used 3/4'' square tubing, here is the pic of what I did, but the exhaust is not beside it. My car is in the air for the winter, I will take a pic tonight of it for you with the exhaust.

Keep in mind the car is on these stands for the winter, so the exhaust is about 2-3'' closer to the ground.

I was able to tuck mine up pretty tight. You cant even see it from the side if you look at it. Take a look at my thread on the first page. I dont see how your haveing problems at all

I dont think mine was scraping after I lifted the exhaust up. We have crappy roads here in town, entrance to parking lots are too steep, I know people that dont go to one grocery store because the speed bumps are just over 4'' tall. The only problem I really had was getting up on a trailer or hoist.

Looks good. But it also looks like the entire pipe is lower than the floor itself which I cant have. The pipe would scrap everything bigtime. I have a feeling you might encounter the same issues.


Yours is exactly what I need. Im really curious on how you were able to route under the the support bearing. Looks good under the diff, but i dont think i should have a problem with that. I'll post some pics in the next day or two of what i'm working with along with the ground clearance issues I have.

Is that the bracket I see it the picture? Still seems pretty low. Maybe your car sits higher than mine... Ill show you what I mean when I get some pics... My car sits really low but damn it looks good

Yeah, thats the bracket that hits everything. Its twisted because it hit the trailer edge when I was backing off. I think my car is close to normal ride hight.

OK so i finally got around to taking some piotures. This will give you an idea on how low my car sits. I really dont want to raise it up anymore. But I think I found a way to tuck it. Ill definatly keep you updated...

Xtreme, if you cut your turndown more even with the pipe, you could gain at least 1" of ground clearance.


OT, what size wheels do you run? I want some 15" rota's for my car, but I'm afraid I'll get them and they won't fit over stock 2-piston dsm brakes.

Those are 16x7's.... I'm pretty sure 15's will work. If you look at my wheel picture, you can see at least 1" clearance from to caliper to the wheel. I also wanna downsize to 15's.

GVR4's come with twin piston front calipers and 15" wheels.
