Ok, A Lancer is not the same thing as an Evolution. The EVO 1 didn't come out until 1992. The car that you pictured is also non-turbo.
Those pics weren't supporting my theory. I was simply posting different pics of AWD Lancers, which we didn't get here. I saw someone posting that they wanted to see the front crossmember

Yes, I am using a t-bird rear axle. And I now have a running driving AWD colt. OK, well I drove it down the street and back then put it on the lift and took it back apart. Having some axleshaft issues. Getting new axles from moser this week. It should be out for good in the next week or two.

And Omg I love the pics of the car above....hmmm....4 link

Also, IIRC, until the IV, all EVO's had the solid rear axle, too.

Hmm, I hadn't heard about that. It doesn't seem like it would have a solid rear axle though, even GVR4's had an IRS, and those came before the EVOs.
I stand corrected: http://www.sportcompactcarweb.com/featu ... index.html
Quote:
The EVO's suspension consisted of MacPherson front struts and a multi-link rear, with pillow-ball mounts replacing the base Lancer's rubber bushings in the control arms and toe-control links.
I thought someone on GalantVR4.org mentioned the I-III all had solid rears. My mistake.

:offtopic: does the t-bird rear axle use the same ratio as the tranny? Because that could cause problems like gear binding. :ontopic:

Did a 4 wheel burnout in my stone driveway last night....LOL it dug 4 holes.....OMG I want to go out and play with this thing..

Wow, your car leans out a lot up top. What are those injector duty cycles looking like?
