Well, not sure what the shop rate is where you guys are, but its $75-85 per hour where I live (the oil patch has driven that up). I was told from the local shop it would be 3-4 hours labour plus what ever parts are needed. |

Picked up the drive shaft, rear brake pads, rear calipers, and rear rotors today. U-joints will be in tomorrow. Completed the fuel line install, except for the last 16 inches in the engine bay (got to wait until its the last thing so I dont install it where something else is). Fuel lines to the fire wall: http://www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=5358447 Over the rear diff (still got to cut and connect the return line): http://www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=5358446 Me hardly working like normal: http://www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=5358445 |

I am sure that it is just the camera, but those fuel lines look like standard "gas pipes." What sizes are they? Mine are standard tubing 7mm OD. |

Stainless steel tubing, made by Swagelok. 1/2'' O.D. Rated at 2500 PSI, burst pressure of over 5000 PSI. All the unions and fittings are stainless steel too, just over $300 if I were to pay for it. We use it in the oil patch here to transport gas/liquid stuff. |

Yeah. That's a little overkill. We will only get around 60psi on the 7mm, but that ss does look good, and the price was right. A "little" oversize will increase fuel flow without upgrading fuel pump. |

Drive shaft is mounted, fuel lines are now bolted instead of the self tapping screwings. Intake manifold on, rear engine mount is in the way of the shifter cables - might need to make a new bracket for the cables. Oh yeah almost forgot, had to assemble the waste gate and make some gaskets. Its on now too, just need a new diaphragm, its getting pretty worn. |

Got the shifter cables setup, its going to take some practice going into 5th, the difference from 4th to 5th is about 1 inch. Engine bay almost done: http://www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=5373602 Drive shaft mounted: http://www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=5373601 |

Started it today, yay! Ran it for 20 seconds, good thing I shut it off after that because I forgot to bolt up the oil return line from the turbo to the oil pan. Leaked about 1/2 cup of oil out, maybe one cup. Picked up the slim fan tonight too, along with a new air filter/intake pipe. Just got to install and fix that stuff tomorrow, install 12 bolts for the drive shaft and rear cv joints, then remove a broken bolt from a caliper and its done. Finally. Forgot about the suspension, got to lower the front. |

Well, its now driveable, and holy sheep shit does it like to go. I let off the throttle at 16 psi in first gear when it started to get loose in the rear, plus the wastegate is still not functional so I had to bring the throttle down some. I need a way stiffer setup in the rear as I think it was near bottoming out when I was on the throttle. I only drove it a block so far, and am loving it, now to install the touch screen in it so I can read all the gauges again. |

Yep, I just need to find a trailer to haul it on because I can see myself wrecking something on it. 2.5 hour tow truck is too costly. |
