I heard it through the Ohio colt grapevine that John's (redsleeper) AWD is up running and out on the prowl. Just want to congratulate him on finishing the build. I cant wait to see it .

Dont blow it up before the shootout :butthead:

:o word travels FAST! Its been done for almost 200 miles now.

Its deffently kick ass. I have NO drivetrain noise, or vibs. and it doesnt walk sideways as everyone was telling me it would. I still need an alinement. as i got 5000 degrees of negative camber.

As for how it runs.. :) Its on 22psi, GT35r. Its pretty nasty. It does get a bit loose in 2nd gear. And if i speed shift to 2nd, I think it just spins till redline. :axe:

SO.. i've come to the conclusion.. AWD was deffently worth it. I HATED myself when doing it because i hacked a beautiful car. I'll have pictures soon :) Thanks

Oh yeah, I'm going cleveland style. I have $0 in the AWD swap. and the engine is still 100% stock. and has 160k miles

this will get quite a bit better when you fix the camber.

what kind of tires are you using?

I may rock them all summer so after this season the tires will be a little worn.

i wasnt impressed with the azenis'

do you drive the car every day? if its just a fun car, i would put either the bfg drag radials on it...i use those regularly on the street and like them. Some people complain about wheelhop with them, but i havent experienced it.

they dont have the best tread life but its not as bad as people worry about..if its not your daily driver, who cares about tread life?

Agreed. Azenis are good for road-racing and auto-x'ing, but their traction in a straight line is not that good. I know there aren't any curvy roads in Ohio, so go for some BFG Drag Radials.
