Its DONE!!! And I already have a kill story. So I put in the new transmission, Thanks to Dan! Works great by the way. So I leave the house to go get gas. Shits on Empty yo! So I decide to swing by Mikeys house cuz its on the way. Luckily he's home and I show off my work to him. He's impressed! and wants to roll with me to the gas station. So we take off from Mikeys house, everything going smooth. Just getting use to all my new squeeks, rattles, and rubbing noises. Punch it on a straight and the fruit and banana just lifts up the front end and GO's! Very awsome. Only boosting 13psi, I had to take care of this right away. Turn up the boost, and on the way home punch it again. 23 - 24 psi, Feels AWSOME!!! Takes off like a "son-of-a-bitch" The only thing I can compair it to is Dans Colt, but not as fast Smile I still have a little bit of race gas left in the car also so I'm not worried about the high boost. So the Kill part! I'm heading down the road and punch it again in 2nd gear and open the wastegate, Luckily a street I passed had a C6 vette pulling onto the street I'm going down. I am just coasting, and the guy fly's by me!! I'm so excited, I know he wants to play. Today must be my lucky day cuz I just happen to pull up next to him at the Next light. I look over to the young kid and his passenger and say, "Hey, whats up!" and He says, with a cocky, daddys boy, shit eating grin on his face, " what? You wanna race me?" I replied with a big hell yes!! The guy smerks and gets ready for the light. Mikey and I just look at each other and start cracking up. Light turns green, I bog the CRAP out of the car. (Not use to awd, Give me a break!) Then proceed and get full boost and the shoe box takes off!!! I'm jump a car on him in 1st, shift and start pulling more, Shift again and start pulling even more! Take it to the top of 3rd then throw it in 5th and cruise. Then VROOOM, the C6 flies by me and doesnt plan to slow down. Why would he? fruit and banana guy just got ruined by the Pepto-Bismol. I am very happy with the car! And I appreciate everyone who's helped me along the way

Did you get on the brakes to make it more of a point that you were slowing down when he did the ricer flyby?

Yep and yep.

First time I took the car to work, the first light I hit I pulled up next to a WRX wagon with exhaust. At that moment, the endless hours of labor making the car AWD ceased to exist. I revved the car to 5k, slipped the clutch, got a little sideways and left the WRX in the dust. Things like that make it all worth while, no matter how much blood and pain you put into it.

Exactly! I told my buddy after I raced that if my car broke something, I wouldn't mind so much cuz that last minute made everything worth it.

Is that a coating on the exhaust or paint? If it's paint, which Brand/type did you use?

I just got some high temp BBQ paint from home depot. Withstand temps up to... more then your cat back will ever see.

Is/Does anyone willing/have the crossmembers for sale. I dont have the fabrication parts, but I guess Im willing to buy the crossmembers from someone, and any other brackets to make it a bolt in affair. Anyone got these??

not that i know of but someone could make a killing off of this
