Yeah so I I had to swap the metal sleeves from an AWD strut to my Koni yellows in order for them to fit on the AWD rear hubs obviously. So I had some blown KYB junk struts and I went ahead and pressed out the bushings/sleeve combo and was just gonna press them into the Konis but it seemed kinda ghetto. I figured I had two options for nice bushings: 1) call prothane and order a custom set or if they had something that might fit (but that was gonna take WAY too long probably), 2) make custom bushings. I yielded for the custom idea so I got some urethane resin material and went at it and here is how they turned out.
Here is the set with only one being cut to width on the left standing up.
Here is one bushing almost finished, still some fitting left before the sleeve it fit into place but you get the idea. 2 piece bushing BTW.
This is what it'll look like sitting in the strut.
Here are the two konis with the bushings pressed into place and ready to rock-n-roll.
