i've also thought about doing that. but couldnt remember the thread i read it in. I thouht he said he kept blowing them up. mabye i'll buy me some Gr2's here soon and do it that way.. Well i almost have to do it like that.

Well, just design a 2" tall plate that bolts to the top of the strut plate and "extends" the strut downward another 2". Voila!

Anyone worried they're diff will fly out during a launch?

What about for hatches, can you just cut the driveshaft, trim and re-weld it? or does it have to be re-balanced?

Someone local here had a driveshaft cut and rebalanced and it only came to like $60. For how important that part is to the car I think it is money well spent.
