AT least your fine, and the car died racing instead of a crappy minivan death or something. Did you have VR-4 front hubs on it? If so want to sell them whiel your rebuilding--hehe

I'm suprised they didn't arrest me.

After I won the first two races, the flagman came up to my car and said, and I quote

"I know you have nitrous"
-No I don't
"This car isn't stock, I'm not stupid, this race is for stock, street legal cars only, so even if you win, you're not going to be winning anything, if you know what I'm saying"

Furthermore they told me not to come back to the track with this car or any other car ever again.

After the crash, they inspected the rear end, gas tank, trunk, questioned why I had a "solenoid" attached to my fuel pressure regulator and gauge, questioned the remote stainless line coming off of the fuel pressure regulator that feeds the FPG sender and engine bay FP gauge.

The front end was lifted up and fully secured. They were about to drag the car off the track.

I said, "put the f//cking car down, it's 4WD."

In a slew of hick-ory, "It dun what? Four wheel drive?" The group of 5-8 track monkeys stopped and stared at each other and lowered the car down. There were two racers in one of the regular classes that hung around and offered me their truck, trailer and 4WD truck to push the car up on the trailer and take me home. I owe them.

They quickly shut off all of the lights in the track, so my car was left sitting in the infield with no lighting to even get it on the trailer. Assholes. Complete asshole. I'm never going there again.

Dangit, that's the saddest thing I've seen all month. I'm glad your ok, but seriously sorry to see her go. Good luck on your next build. Sorry I don't have more to say, but I'm still in shock.

To ease the pain, I think I'll just say to myself, "Alright, now he's done practicing and fooling around, now it's time to build a REAL mirage."

Nope, it's Slinger, so the unfortunate event probably just happened last night.

That sucks, Jason. Looks like you just slid out of the groove.

Bummer man. good luck w/ #2 I feel your pain as I too totaled my first turbo Colt.

As for the track guys fuuck them stupid circle track guys 90% of them are dumb as a rock. I know I deal with them everyday at our mechine shop. They like to put motors togeather in ten minutes and come back after the weekend saying "blah blah blah blew up blah blah blah" Thwn we start asking the simple questions "did you clean the block out with oil galley cleaners?" "did you mock it uo to see if the valves hit" "did you plasti-guage it" their awnsers are NO can you belive that. Then you try to explain what happened they look at you like the lights and A/C are off in there heads.

But on a lighter note....If you didnt hit your NAWs while turning the corner you would of made it. :-?
