I can't understand why you guys are hacking up good, possibly collectable cars to do the AWD conversions. Why not use an auto car or standard CSM?

Exactly, its still a car that was meant to be an economical car when it was sold, very little options were available on them. Not that there is anything wrong with these cars or Mitsubishi, but remember, they were made by Mitsubishi, not Bentley, it had no where near the same amount of research done on it like a Buick GNX or an Ariel Atom.

But I do like my colt.

FWD is gay.

Doing rolling 3rd gear burnouts is fun for like 2.5min, then you just wish the G-forces from an AWD car were present.

UH.....I had a guy asking my at the track a few weeks ago if I was willing to sell the car. I told him I had no interest in selling it. He asked me if I would sell it for 8,000? I told him no way.


So? has a unhacked Colt GT/ Mirage Turbo ever sold for 8K? Even off the dealer lot?


Before this turns into a war, witch I do not mean it to. I have no idea if this guy was serios or just blowing smoke up my butt. It is however a 80's Ecobox with disc brakes, no matter how many badges and 9c turbo's you put on it. Also I would ask that before you bash US/ME for making our cars AWD please come for a ride.....
