I think I finally got a bunch of the whacky issues taken care of. Images should be working now (for the select few with XP and broken images), email notification should be all happy too.
I'm ready to abuse myself more and offer email accounts up as a "reward" for donating to the site.
EMail Accounts!
Being donation based, there is no hard amount of money required and I'm not putting a real time limit on the length of time the accounts stay active.
Rule of thumb, $5 for a year of email. This can be either a full POP/webmail based email address OR just a redirector to an account of your choice (I have 50 gmail invites if you want one for this). When a year rolls around I'm not going to be killing your account if you don't send me more or anything. For accounts with local storage space I need to keep the quota pretty tight at 10 meg. (more on disk space later)
I would like to keep a thread alive (and locked) thanking the members who have donated to the site. I won't put any value amounts in there and if you want to remain anonymous then just let me know.

Gallery (image) space
As some of you guys may have seen, I have a
gallery set up on my work account for images. Being a work thing I'm not supposted to have other people on there with accounts. I really need to get those people off of there so I want to get gallery set up here. Problem is disk space. Gallery itself is under 6 meg, thats not bad at all. All the pictures I have stuffed in there however weigh in at over 2.3gig. Now there are tricks I can play with gallery to have it auto-resize pictures and play with quality. These are tricks that infact I will be playing when this is all set up in 4g61t land.
We are currently using only half our available transfer quota so I'm not really worried about that (yet). I only have 200 meg free of disk quota
If the gallery idea is going to fly, I _need_ to upgrade the hosting plan. I was figuring if you jump in at the $30 level that will get you a year of gallery access. No official quotas for disk space used per member, but you would be expected to keep it "sane". The next plan is $120/yr more so if only one person is interested then it just won't fly. I would really like to go up two steps, but that plan is double what I'm currently paying.
Insert obvious disclaimers on posting legal/non-offensive images and not using ALL my bandwidth up by posting images to every forum on the planet.
I would like to throw in a HUGE thank you for our (currently) two sponsors. Without them this would be a ton harder for me to keep up and running. Its amazing how fast all this stuff adds up.
