Where here it is.

About two years ago I switched from servercentral.net to ipowerweb.com for the hosting service. I authorized ipowerweb.com to transfer the domain (4g61t.com) to their system, which they never did.

After two years of receiving no contact from me, servercentral.net locks the domain name. Without trying to contact me and giving me warning they were about to do so. When I tried to get it unlocked, they have not been willing to without me paying for another year of registering the name and have refused to unlock it. Basically they're holding the name ransom for $15. Had they contacted me before locking it, I would've gladly paid that, in order to give Paul time to get everything transferred.

So, when you get a chance, thank Paul for the hard work he has done over the weekend and the past few days. I know that he has been up til at least 1:00am (or later) every night since this has happened.

Don't forget ... nobody likes a smart---. You sound like my wife. That's OK, I can't make out with her either. On the other hand, it does get out for occassions. I'm just trying to keep the economy going.

Man, that sounds like a real pain. I know it's kinda late now, but I remember reading that it's a good idea to secure your domain name through a company that just does domain names (I got mine throught www.godaddy.com ), so you can change servers without them holding your name hostage.

Thanks for the hard work.

Ren
