Whoa... that IS strange.

My first guess is there is a proxy between the site and you that is retarded.

Does it do that on your machine with a different browser?

This is new...

Topics aren't being read after I read them. I mark all topics as read, and I get this:
Quote:

Is it still doing it?

I know my hosting provider has been having some issues lately.

Whats up with the google bot and the yahoo slurp in the members list?? For some reason, my posts are double posting. Is there still problems with the site????? Evertime i post also, the "my post" option doesnt refresh the threads with the new poster.

I havent been able to post messages all day, when I click Submit it just hangs and eventually takes me to a error page about 5min later. After trying to post my message like 10 times i looked in the Topic review and it had all my attempted messages listed in it. I thought oh shite and went to delete the posts but they were all gone?

Wouldnt be surprised if this doesnt work either :?

When I read a post it is not deleted from the read list. So when I long on and go to "view posts since last visit", I am also getting all old posts that have already been read. So the list just gets longer and longer and..................... :-?

That is actually a feature. You can set it not to do that in your profile. I turned it on because I rarely have time to read all the posts in one sitting. This way I can knock a few off before work... hit some during work, then some after lunch... etc

Or you could use the "mark all messages as read" button.

Where's the part to turn this off? I looked in preferences in my profile and couldn't find it.

Preferences -> Reading topics -> Keep messages unread
