First time out with new mods. I was hoping to get in the 14's but it's going to take either more tuning, more boost, better driving, or bigger turbo: or maybe all that!
Anyway, did three runs with best of 15.361 @ 91.07 with 2.40 60'. At least I beat a '90 Accord with Prelude v-tech swap.
Any track experts feel free to diagnose.

edit:this was with '61t, smic, 450's, 60mm tb, maft, stock boost

Scratch the "bigger turbo" off that list until you get well into the 13's. (I've ran a 13.9 with a tiny T25.

Are you still running the stock exhaust? If so, get rid of that. Also, get a manual boost controller and set it to about 15psi, unless you can do some tuning.

Thanx for the input. Traction wasn't too bad as there was a lot of rubber on the track. I would sidestep the clutch at 3500 rev's and spin thru first but not enuf pwr to spin in 2nd unless I really abuse the clutch(and who would do that, j/k). I do have 2.5 mandrel downpipe and 2.5 pressbent catback. This week it will get a new mbc. I had a fish tank bleeder valve for the 11b, but I didn't like it so it got tossed.
BTW- Acording to a horsepower calculator my '61t is now making 184 @ the crank which is about 50 more than stock.

tuning is everything, what kind of device do you use to monitor the knock?

the 4g61t on a stock exhaust and a little t25 got me to 100 mph.

traction is my concern now.

Need to work on your launch, deff room for improvemnt on a 2.4 60ft, your not on stock 13" steelies are you? Don't know what you consider stock boost, if you have a fuel pump-walbro I would suggest kicking it up to 15-16psi. Proabbly just need soem more pratice, fwd can be a handful, may wish to consider some cheap wide rims and some Drag Radials for the track if making a best time is important.

Dude you need to "baby" it off the line, DONT drop the clutch at 3500. I have the 63t/14b w/ 195/60R14's and have gotten a 2.1 60ft getting out of the hole gently and if I try to launchhard I never get better the a 2.4

My 14.9 was on an 11b set to 13 psi. This was also at denver elevation and I was getting consistent 2.3's on crappy tires. Just turn up the boost and try to eliviate some wheel spin.

more boost, try it up to 15psi, and keep your eye/ears on knock, or egt's.
