I always like to be ready for anything while at the track. Here are some things I like to bring.

Water /Food <--way cheeper the there food
Air tank/Tire guage
Jack/tire wrench
Tool Box <--I like to bring everytool for anything that can go wrong.
Spare Axles
1 qt of oil <--just incase
A couple chair's <--fold up
Notebook <--good to take notes on air temp/tire psi/track cond.
Tape <--a must
Gas tank <--to get high octane at the track
Flashlght
Chammy <--you know you use them to soak up water after you wash it. They come in handy after a small rain storm rolls though.

Everyone feel free to add some things to the list if you want, and tell us what you like to bring.

In re food: large cooler, bag of ice, gal. of decent water, jar of p.nut butter, loaf of whole wheat bread, hand of bananas. pnut butter sands and bananas with water=decent carbs, protein, potasium, hydration. Cheap and keeps you going without bonk. Oh, spatula to spread.

Instead of bringin all that food to the track, just bring a case of naty light. Plenty of calories for your body to burn from all that hard shifting you'll face.

In the UK, AA membership covers free tow anywhere in the country (and Europe if you buy the next package up from mine) :P

All valid points there, especially about the food! - but I tend to just bring the van with ALL my tools and spare parts in it, and the car on a trailer.

Even been known to change clutches and gearboxes at the strip. Once had to help change the clutch on an Escort Cosworth so we could run it again.

Next thin I'm getting is a marquee tent to I can park the car under it (as it rains a lot in Scotland, and as our only 1/4 mile strip is on the East coast - it rains HARD there!)

I'd have to suggest that if you gut your car, do it the night before and leave the stuff at home so no one steals it or it rains.
I also leave my girl at home, all she does is complain and get mad when I check out the young hotties walking around. It always seems to rain when she comes too, so now I just send her shopping.

First off I'm a college student so naty light is like michelob for us because most students in VA drink milwaukees best for finacial reasons(referred to as beast here in VA, most of yall probably already know that though). Also, since I am in VA, all the redneckers, myself included, drink naty light because it is a good cheap beer. I mean we drink so much you can't afford anything else really. To be honest I buy Strohs if I can get it. Its cheaper than naty light and you get more and it tastes better.

slicks, necessary for you swapped guys,

coolant,
gear oil(some drips out when swapping broken axles)
tool(lots of them) at least a 10,12,14,17, 19 and 32(for changing axles you'll be breaking with the aforementioned slicks)

For starters, lets remember that all this stuff must fit in the vehicle and still leave room for your homies who just have to go with you, buts thats O.K. because they can chill in the pit and watch your stuff for yah while you tear up some Honda ass. Anyway, how about some tips on how to get the most supplies possible in your very limited amount of space. For starters you can buy those fold up chairs that fit in a bag. If the track is near a grocery store you could get to the track early, drop your stuff at the track, draw straws and the loser stays behind to hold down the fort while you head to the store for munchies and brewskies in your empty car. As far as tools go, most of us spend more time with our C/S/M's then we do with our girlfriends so you already know you can do anything from change a dome light to a motor swap with the fallowing list of tools

stick with steel reserve, a buck 50 for a 40oz kick in the gut. if you spend 3 bucks and drink 2, you will need to have someone drive you home, 8%malt liquor is great.
