i want know i can make 400hp with a second gen mas, so i am sticking with it. when the cash is better, i will go with the f.a.s.t. it is easy to use and is very clean in term of installation. my friend made 550 with it. you will have to mod the cas to make it work. simply block one of the window in the cas and it will be in sync with the f.a.s.t ignition system.
We say 650 hp with a 2nd gen mas over here ;)
But wheres the link with Drag tires?

sorry about going off subject in the previous post. i was wondering about the clearance problem with the 15 inch rims. i am considering bogart or circleracing 15x8 but i am concern about the clearance with the slick on.
Im running 24.5x8.5x15 MH slicks on 15x8, 4 inch BS Diamond wheels.I should have ordered them with 3 in. BS.But I did modify the perch for the coilovers. And use 1/4 inch spacers to get them pass the rotor bolts.

in the case of a 13 second car, would you recommend:

- drag radials or slicks?

- 14 or 15 inch wheels?

the wheels/tires will only be used at the strip. i'd like to minimize the chance of breaking an axle. i've been thinking of getting these:

thx

those would be excellent tires, for a 13 sec car, but you still might have traction problems on the track, they won't hit like a slick would, and therefore alleviate some breakage.

i still recommend slicks, as they will still be around when you are making more power, you don't have to buy 2 sets of tires.

and also, slicks aren't nearly as squirelly as street tires or drag radials.

underdog has stated this before. either in this post or elsewhere
