I can think of more than his car if i remember correctly.
Someone please correct me if i'm wrong or elaborate on what i may be missing.

I know a guy who worked or was part of OnGreenPerformance had a 10 or 9 second colt.
I can't remember to much about his car but he used to be an active member.
I'm sure you can find info on him on their website.

There is also the infamous JP aka boostfreak aka coltboostin aka craziest man to drive a mirage.
He had the 2 door mirage which he put together for the grand total of $5560 i believe.
Until recently he held the Dsmlink whp until you pushed out more on your shop talon and of course it just continue from there.
I think Curt is near 800whp on link in his talon. :supz:

You also have the Grassroots Motorsports baby blue colt that ran a 10.9 with and old school frank 5 or 2 depending on who you ask.
I think JP is the one who ran that time after a long hiatus from hitting the track.

There is also one very old school guy(i didn't even know what a colt was back then) who ran a 9.9 on a FWD mirage on "stock mitsu internals" parts.
I had pictures of his car but aol decided to close down their group pages and now i have none.
I believe he went by evil93mirage.
He had a one piece front end, traction bars and was running 1g rod/2g piston combo with arp everything and ran a 9.9.
I think Kiggly may know more about this individual.
A search on here may find you info but from what i remember he went on to work on subarus.

The most impressive has to be dragstr old car 1.6l stock internal and bolt on 50 trim with very little money invested at least for this site....Hey trev you asking how many on this site cause there are many 10 and 9 second fwd's in general....

I think its more impressive when people go fast with out help of shops or big name companies...Sorry i like curt brown but look who he has helping him not really impressive thats just me though...

my favorite colt on the board has to be the baby blue grassroots car which has a frank 2 on it. that car is VERY impressive for a stock 2.0 on a 2g maf

I guess I meant 10s in General with a FWD CSM. Ive seen vids of the black Widow going 10s just wondering if there are others. Really interested to the 9 second FWD with stock internals??

I wish i could find pictures of this guy's car. Unfortunately the only place i had them were on an aol page he had. Since aol deleted it all i have no pictures. I knew i should've saved them onto my harddrive.

This is the 9 second "stock" internal CSM you're looking for.
http://www.4g61t.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5076

Trev also look up OnGreenPerformance.com.
You can find the colt i was telling you about.
I'm pretty sure they ran 10s in it or 9s and decided to go auto.
From that point i never heard anything about it anymore.

You also have Brad Brooks who had a red mirage running mid 10's with 600whp.
Also Tom something from PA who used to make the jdm bumper replicas.
From what i remember he had a total of 6 CSM's.
There are alot of guys just have to search.
Also the guy with the blue and black colt from Canada.
He was running 10s at the shootout with a FP3065.
Honestly though GSXtreme's car is what does it for me.
I know it is not FWD but i guess i'm a bit biased since i want to awd my colt. :D

Hemi- If low cost DIY builds is what impresses you then how about JP?
Yeah he can weld and fab his own stuff but he did do it by himself for low $.
Plus we all know that car had alot more in it the same way the black widow does.
Only problem is JP never got to push it farther and we all know why.

Now Curt brown is a madman. I don't think because he has sponsorships that that is what necessarily makes his car fast.
The guy's been doing this longer than many of us if not all.
Just my 0.2 cents.

I can kind of see were your coming from don't get me wrong i'm not taking anything away from jp his car was just sick.....But look at this way a light car plus 42r and jmf intake mani, 2.ol And various parts from shearer fmic, header....

Now look at bobby light car stock 1.6l with 272's, bolt on 50trim, Stock intake mani, evo 8 fmic witch seems more impressive?

Also sponsors do make things easier you dont think so your :weedman: ....

I know the Widow went 10s, but I think only on one outing?? Its nice to see a time backed up a few different days and on some different tracks just to make sure its for real.
