Wasnt sure about the valves or any other damage, but 3 of the other dsm guys there ran me back into town and grabbed some steel rod, 8X1.25 die, and showed me the way of loosing off the tension for the belt without pulling the cover off. Their 2 talons and one gvr-4 from Colorado (14 hr drive) were kicked off the track after they were approaching the 12.0 mark, Tech guy said there was a rule not allowing datalogging while racing. This was at a track that says they are following NHRA rules. Street legal event.
But back to the colt, fixed the cam alignment issue, started it up. Ran like crap, would barely idle (about 400 rpm). Still ran good under boost. So went and passed tech inspections.
Did one race, 13.262 @ 85.297 mph, part way into fourth gear it lost power, coasted the last few hundred feet. 19 psi and 14.5 a/f ratio. Thought it may be out due to the intake cam may of been out a tooth still.

Checked ignition timing, yep, out to lunch. Set it as close to the base timing as I could, still past the 10* mark. No where close to where I wanted it. Turned up the boost, added more fuel. Figured its already done, so go out in a good run.
Run 2, 14.364 @ 69.461 mph. 1.798 for the 60 foot, first gear didnt even get me to 60 feet. Was pulling away from the car I was racing against. Was starting to smoke at the end of third gear. Shifted into fourth, smoke gone, building boost, smoke came back at about 12 psi. Pushed in the clutch and coasted again after about 3/4 of the track. Smoking the rest of the way.

Missing really bad on the return trip, smokes under any boost. Oil past the filler cap, oil on the tranny from the cas area. And got to look at it more later this week.
Wasnt the best, but still made it down the track on its own power.
