First run they screwed up on the slip printing, but I ran a time of 2.678. This was slipping the clutch on the start, first gear all the way, 8500 rpm rev limiter after about 50 feet.

Second run was 2.698@34.27 mp/h, r.t. @ 1.013 seconds, 5000 rpm dump, and grabbed second gear at about 40 feet. It doesnt go into second very well, requires a lot of force.

Third run was 3.152@21.10 mp/h, r.t. @ 1.272 seconds, 5500 rpm dump, tried for second gear at 32 feet, no go, coasted to the finish and still beat the SRT-4 that got a 3.374@31.77mp/h.

All done on 16-17 psi, pump gas. 30*C outside.

Back end of the car bottoms out everytime, causing the upper arm to hit the wheel well frame, everybody thought I broke something the first launch because of the sound. The Colt surprised everybody there, I will post the videos from my camera when they are uploaded, and from the stands when it is done too. Everyone cracking fun at the colt, then it goes sideways at the start and the people that put the races on were shitting them selves.

Overall got second place in my class, a STI (stage 2 what ever that is, and an aluminum drive shaft) beat me by 0.09 second, he got $300, and I got $200. After all the races I talked to the tech guys, us turbo awd people should of been up one more class. But honestly, we had better times than everyone in the next 2 classes. Only one turbo diesel beat us, and it was a performance store truck, with slicks.

Cant wait for SIR, just got to work on second gear, and making it pass the rest of tech.

100' drag races?!! That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Sheesh, I thought 1/8th-mile was stupid enough, but 100 feet is just ridiculous.

I know, 100 feet sucks. I was debating on going because I didnt want to break something only for a 100 feet. But there was a good enough turnout that next year there is going to be a 1/4 mile race at the air port. I had a nice conversation with the tech guys after, and that was what a lot of people thought, is why try for only 100 feet.
