So I took my colt out to the local 1/8th mile track tonight. I ran my car at the track a while back, with the EXACT same set up. Only difference this time is that I have AWD. here is how I did tonight:

Best E/T: 7.86
Best mph: 94.14
Best reaction: .507
Best 60 ft. 1.801

last time in FWD mode I did best of 8.3 at 93mph. Am I glad that I swapped the car to AWD you ask? Hellz yes I am! I wouldn't want my car any other way. I have lots of video footage from tonight that i'll try to get up asap. Might take a while tho... Its time to install the new turbo now! Bwahaha! :-)

What is up with that track?? It looks like a makeshift dragstrip set up in a parking lot right next to a Lowe's!!

Edit: What the HELL?? Two tracks side by side?? Cali is one wacked out place!!

Yep. It's racing in a parking lot. Man, I never thought I'd say this, but I miss GLD!

God I hate GLD....... I've never seen such a crappy track that thinks it has the most prestigious racing facility in the world.

Dude, GLD is like Rt. 66 compared to what we have out here. I'd kill to have that track within 55 miles of my front door again.

Yeah, you suck. I have 3 1/8th-mile tracks within 50 miles, does that count?

Nearest 1/4-mile track to me is about 100 miles each way. They do test & tune nights like once or twice a month, and if you go you may be lucky to get 3 or 4 runs in with all the people that show up. And they wonder why street racing was such an epidemic out here...

I've got two 1/8th mile tracks, one is very fast, and I got two 3 1/4mi tracks, two being very nasty fast, MIR and VMP. I remember Shearer at MIR last Nov. with Shep at import vs. domestic claiming it was the stickiest track he's ever been to. Shep's car would have gone stupid times had he not shifted from 3rd back into 2nd twice in a row. His 60' times were retarded that night, 1.21s while shifting into 2nd gear as he was crossing the beams :o

2 of the 1/4 mile tracks, both in opposite directions, both about 2.5 hours of highway driving for me.
