best technique ever with 24 x8 inch slick and no two step. it is even better with two step.

1.63s-1.68s 60ft time.

-do burn out with ebrake in second gear
-back up the car and do a quick acceleration to shake off the water
-put the car in first and pull up the the line
-use the ebrake to slowly pull into the staging line until you light up light up the first 3 yellow staging light
-pull hard on your ebrake with the ebrake button pushed in.
-egage the clutch slightly with the rpm rev up to 3-4k rpm
-use the ebrake to let the car go forward to light up the second set of staging light.
-control the movement of the car with the clutch and ebrake so it won't go pass the line
-look at the starting light. when you see that the first yellow light up, pedal the gas so the tach will bouch between 5500-6000rpm. the whole time, you will need to keep the car on the line and slightly engaging the clutch using the ebrake. you will fell the car wanting to pull forward. this mean that you are do it right. when you see that 3rd yellow, floor the gas and be ready to pull 2nd gear because you will be leaving pretty hard. make sure your one of your hand is firmly on the steering wheel because it will be a scary moment.

wait until the other guy line up so you don't kill your clutch to fast. when you get use to it. you can go to the line and light up the first staging lights. when the other guy lines up complete, to this tricks. i think i can get into the 1.58s with a two step since it will build some boost.

use antilag too.

2nd gear equals more speed equals more heat equals more stick. SLIP THE CLUTCH!!!!!!!! don't shock the damn thing, it will snap all kinds of stuff.

DR2.0's technique is excellent.

The launching technique as good as it can be will only be a part of your 60foot times.

The suspension setup and the weight repartition are very important.

Although the stutter box will help you to make a bit of boost and control your launching RPM, make sure you have the drivetrain components preloaded just like DR2.0 does with his ebrake technique.

What we have discover lately, is that antilag will pull back the timing in order to fire during the exhaust, this will create tremendeous amount of boost. BUT an engine without timing is weak, it has barely no power.
Thanks to DSMlink for its hability to deactivate the antilag via a speed value.

In other words, my car is on the line, 25 pounds of boost, and for a fraction of second when the car is being launched the power is gently applied to the drivetrain, the car starts to move, the slick are not spinning and then, all the power comes in.

This technique is amazingly smooth on the mecanic and very efficient.

Although my front suspention is completely not adequate and that we run on a slippery track with barely no glue, I run a constant 1.80 on 24.5 slicks.

don't. it is a waste of time. it is a good way to bog off the line.

I took my car to the track and my best 60 foot was a 1.92 with 13 psi in both tires. 23x8.5x15 m&h slicks with a burnout. Launched about 4.5k. When we lowered the pressure to 10, I launched at 5k and bogged bad. Resulted in a 1.97 short time. The track was prepped OK and it was 45% humidity and it was 85 degrees. KYB AGX's were at the stiffest and I have stock rubber mounts and I'm going back in two weeks hopefully with prothane mounts inserted.

I tried that once on the street with regular tires. Its hard to keep the car from bogging, even with anti-lag. Launched at near red-line and just spun the clutch. Not a good idea IMHO.
