Not a rotary expert, but I thought it cost a lot more than $2006 to make an RX7 go 10.9's.

I took the '87 Colt to the Grassroots Motorsports $2006 Challenge in Florida this weekend. The Colt impressed me. I was 18th overall. The car: 1987 Colt 4g32b stock everything except for 2" exhaust, FMIC from a Laser and Nitrous. I did a 13.9 @ 103. The guys from Westside said they thought it was pretty damned fast for a 4g32. Their Colt E went an 11.4 @ 127. Just thought I'd share. -Les |

Hey, I was there too! I was with the team with the Red Conquest but you and the Westside guys made me want to look into this colt thing. Congrats on the nice finish. |

It had a V8 in it and it blew up after his last run.

Takes a lot more then 2006 to make a colt go low 11's but that where the "Stuff we had" comes into play
