My 16G is junk now so I slapped the stocker back on. I ran a 12.7 on Drag radials 2 weeks ago and this weekend I tried the slicks. The little POS ran a 12.0 at 115mph. Only problem is I broke the tranny on that run. Sounded like the diff was locked up. I made a U-turn and it went back to normal but I quit beating on it at that point. I still had an hour drive home.
Oh well time to try and fit a turbo tranny in it (non-turbo tranny barely fits). If it works I'll get a 50trim.

12 seconds is absolutely nuts! Great run, but too bad for the broken tranny.

Tranny noises always make for a fun drive home.

New tranny is in but I won't get to the track any time soon. Just had a daughter. The "Ladybug" will make it's next pass at the DSM shootout at Norwalk if all goes well.

Congratulations. I hope you were there for the birth. I remember all 3 of my kids births. And girls..... watch 'em like a hawk when they hit 14 or so..... omg! That's when you'll know you've hit terminal stupidity (in their eyes). By the time they're 23 or so they get soooo amazed at how smart you've become. :D

Enjoy your daughter, they grow up fast.

I hope you're right about that last part. My 2 year old already thinks I'm stupid and my wife is 31 and still thinks I'm retarted. I guess I don't blame them. There's got to something wrong with a guy who chooses to drive a Colt and an Omni.

but they are paid for right?

therefore "smart", especially since insurance is pocketchange compared to a new car or truck.

Absolutely NOTHING wrong with owning a colt, as long as you arn't doing stupid shit like going broke on mods and track time. I plan to always own a dsm/csm or 3. 8)

12.0 on a 14b on FWD is very impressive! Keep up the good work.
