ok, im leaving for the track at 10:30 this morning and am wondering what psi to start out with my 205-50 DR's. I think like 20 psi or should i go more? I know every car and track is different, but i need a safe psi to start at. I know a guy runs his neon srt-4 at 10 with no problems but i want to get a feel for the tires first and see how they handle on the top end. When i heat cycled them on the street i ran 30 psi and they seemed pretty stable.

prolly too late for you, but I would start with something like 14-18psi range, adjust and see what works for you...
Report your findings...good luck man!

I run 18psi on the street no problems on my 225s. They drive very well, just don't take turns too fast cause the sidewall will just roll. They are useless on the street from a stop, I wouldn't think they'd be much better at the track for a car making decent power.

My friend is using the same tire on his colt. He runs 15lbs at the track and that seems to be the magic number up here at 6000ft of elevation.
